Q : How
can i become a webcam model?
A : Becoming a cams4us
webcam model is really simple. First you need to create a free cams4us
model account. To sign up as a webcam model go here [ signup ] After you have created your account you need to send
us the contract; the Model
Agreement. The contract is for protecting both Mediacast (Cams4us
company) and you for any legal stuff. Second you need to send us
a copy of your legal picture ID. This can be an identity card, passport
or drivers license. Please make sure that when sending the legal
ID the birthdate and name is readable. The ID card must include
a picture of you. When sending the contract you will need to send us both pages; completed, signed and dated. You can send us your documents by email (scanned)
to support@cams4us.com or by regular mail. You can find all the
contact details on the contact page from cams4us.com and on the contract.

Q : Are you accepting all kind of models?
A: Unfortunately we are not accepting new male and/or TS performers at this moment. All other models will still be accepted. (back to top)
Q : Do you accept models from
romania and other eastern european countries?
A : Yes, we do accept models from romania and other
eastern european countries. There are no exceptions, all models
from all countries in the world are invited to join our webcam system. (back to top)
Q : Do
I need to install any webcam software?
A : No, you don't need to install any webcam software
on your pc for the live chat. When your account is activated and
approved, you click on a link called "Chat Room" and a new chat
window will open. Our server will detect your webcam and the microphone
(if you have any) The server will then pulls the streaming video
and sound from your pc. With other sites where you need to install
webcam software, your computer will send the streaming video. We
call this pull instead of push.
What you do need is : Windows 98 or better - Internet Explorer 5.0

Q : What are the technical requirements?
A : You don't need a top of the bill computer to
join us. These are the minimum requirements :
Pentium 2 400MHz or faster PC with Win98 or better
Camcorder or Web Camera
Broadband Internet Connection

Q : Am I allowed to work on more sites?
A : Yes, you can work on more then one webcam site,
besides of cams4us. But to do so you will need cam splitting software.
Windows cannot support multiple webcam streams at once without this
software. Our cams4us jamoncam software is written in macromedia
flash code. It can happen that you cannot connect to two or more
sites that use the same macromedia flash videoserver software at
once, not even with a camsplitter. (back to top)
Q : Are there any Videochat Performer Rules?

Q :Are
you asking models to go naked for free ?
A : No ofcourse not. An administrator will never
ever request such things from you. There are some funny guys pretending
to be us, but they are just some wannabe's. Never ever give a free
show to people pretending to be administrators !!!! Btw if we send
you a message you will not see our name in the user list, that's
how you can identify us. You don't see us, we are invisible. (back

Q : How is your traffic?
A : Our amount of traffic is different every day,
but the important part is that our traffic is still growing! As
a general company rule nobody from our company will give you detailed
data on our traffic, so please don't ask. Our people are doing everything
possible to provide you with the best, most profitable traffic. (back to top)
Q :How much can I earn?
A : It's impossible to give an indication
on this. There are too many variables that influence your earnings
(environment, your looks, connection speed, camera quality etc etc).
As a company rule we will never give you any indication on earnings,
we will also not tell you what other models earn. (back

How much do you pay models?
A : We will pay you 50% on all your sales (back

Q : Which payment methods
do you offer?
A : We offer payment via Wire transfer, Check and Payoneer(back to top)
Q : Is
there a difference in costs per payment method?
A : There are differences in costs for each payment
method. Below you can see an overview of the costs per payment method:
Money wire
For international money wires we are charging 50% of the international
money wire costs. Depending on the country we are sending to, this
can differ between $2,50 and $10
Check
For sending a check we are charging appr $20.00 , this can differ
because of the USD exchange rate. We will not charge you for sending
the check via priority signed mail (costs appr. $15)
Payoneer
Payoneer transfers are free of charge. This is the
only payment method that is free of charge ! (back

Q : How can I apply for a Payoneer card?
A : In your Cams4us profile at the Payment Information section, you will see a link "Click here if you do not have a Payoneer ID yet" or use the Payoneer link in your menu. By clicking on the link, you will be taken to the Payoneer landingpage and from there you can apply for a Payoneer card. (back to top)
Q : I already have a Payoneer card, can I use it on Cams4us too?
A : Yes ofcourse you can use it on Cams4us. However, you will need to link your Payoneer card to your Cams4us account. The easiest way to link your Payoneer card to your Cams4us account is by clicking the link you see in your profile (listed in the payment information section) "Click here if you do not have a Payoneer ID yet" or by using the Payoneer link in your menu. By clicking on the link, you will be taken to the Payoneer landingpage. Here you will need to provide your Payoneer account information to link your card (click thumbnail for a bigger picture).

Q : Who will take care of the approval of the Payoneer Mastercards?
A : Payoneer is in charge of all the mastercard related issues, including the approval of these cards. Any questions regarding the Payoneer Mastercards and Payoneer accounts need to be addressed to Payoneer. (back to top)
Q : Do you offer paypal as
a payment option?
A : No we cannot use paypal as a payment option.
Since we have an adult site we are not allowed to use paypal
as one of the payment options. (back to top)
Q : I don't see a link to my chatroom in the administration area.
A : If you don't see a link "chat room" in your model menu, then you don't have an approved account. In order for us to approve your account we will need to receive a signed and completed copy of the Model Agreement and a legal picture ID (such as passport or ID card). (back to top)
Q : Which documents do I
need to send to get my account approved?
A : For legal reasons and to protect both Mediacast
(Cams4us) and you for any legal issues in the future we need to
have 1 contract back in our office before we can approve your account.
This contract is the: Model
Agreement. Besides of this contract you must also send us a legal
picture ID. This legal ID can be an Identity card, passport or
a drivers license. Make sure this ID is readable. You can scan all
documents and send them to our email address support@cams4us.com.
In total there should be 2 pages to send + your ID card. (back to top)
Q : How long does it take
to get my account approved?
A : Usually we can approve an account within 24
hours, if all the documents you send us are correct. You will receive
an email from us when your account is approved. Once your account
is approved you can start earning money with your webcam. If you
have any questions related to any problems after approval, then

Q : To which email address do I need to send the documents?
A : All documents can be send to the support emailaddress: support@cams4us.com
Make sure you attach both the Model Agreement and your legal ID to the email. (back to top)
Q : How do I login to my model
account?
A : We don't have any special page for the models
to login to their own private area. Basicly you can login anywhere
on the site where it says "members, login here" or just "login". When
you login from there, the system will detect you as being a webcam
model and take you to your administration area. (back

Q : What is the difference between free chat and group chat?
A : Free chat is a free or non paid section. When you are logged into free chat, a member can take you into private chat, which is a paid section. Group chat is a paid section which can only be entered by members who have credits in their account. A member who enters your group chat room will be paying for the time he is spending with you in this chatroom. (back to top)
Q : Do I have to stay nude all the time in group chat?
A : No, you don't need to stay nude all the time when you are logged into group chat. You can start giving your show when a member has entered your room. (back to top)
Q : Is there a way to block certain countries or regions?
A : As a cams4us model you will have the option to block certain countries and/or regions from your chatroom. You will also have the possibility to kick or ban members from your chatroom if they are misbehaving. NOTE: this feature may NOT be abused! (back to top)
Q : Why can't I see myself on the main index page?
A : You will need to have an approved modelaccount in order to see your own profile on the main index page. Has your modelaccount been approved and you are still not able to see your profile picture, then it's possible you have blocked your own country. If that's the case, you will not be able to see your profile picture between other models profiles. (back to top)

: How much is the price per
minute?
A : The price per minute charge is default set in
each modelaccount at $2.00. This price can only be adjusted by our
administrator if you request it via email. It can be adjusted into
$2.64, $3.60 or $4.00. Ofcourse you need to keep this price
in perspective! Its better to make lots of private minutes on $2.00
then none for $4.00. This price per minute is only applicable for
member that pay by creditcard. Our pay per phone option makes sure
that also the users without creditcard can enter your private chat.
The price per minute for pay by phone varies between 0.60 and 2.99,
depending on the country they dial in from. Pay by phone pays less,
but therefor the conversions are much higher ! (back

Q : What is a chargeback?
A : A chargeback is a credit card transaction that
was reported by the creditcard owner as fraude. This can happen
when for example someone used stolen creditcards and such. Unfortunately
we have to back charge the model for the 50% that was used on them.
Ofcourse we will always investigate these transactions first. At
the moment we are at 2% chargback on all transactions so far. Please
note that we are doing everything possible to prevent this kind
of fraud, but we can never get a 100% fraudeless system. (back

Q : What
do I get paid when a member is using the pay by phone option?
A : Depending on the country they dial in from
the price is different. These prices are controled by government.
The payout rates are most of the times lower then the price which
you have set in your account. But there are also some good things
about the pay by phone option. First of all you won't have any chargebacks,
second you are able to earn money on chatters that don't have a creditcard.
Last but not least, the convertion ratio is much higher because
these users don't have to enter any privat information from themselves
and they spend more time in private chat then creditcard users. Here
is a list of the payout rates when a user uses this option. These
amounts below are estimates to give you an idea! It changes daily
because of the exchange rates and roundings upto 3 decimals behind
the comma. You cannot claim any legal rights from the amounts listed
below...

we have this option to give you as many private chatters as possible.
It's better to get a private chat at a low amount then none at all.
These amounts are per user. So if you get more then one user into
your memberchat, for example 5 then don't forget you will also get
5x that money per minute! Above mentioned amounts are also applicable

Q : What is the payment cycle?
A : Our payment cycle is once a month between the
first and fifth day of every new month. But if you wish to have

We also send money on request when you have more then $100 in your
